Buy fresh and healthy foods: Prioritize the purchase of fresh and healthy foods such as fish, seafood, red meat, white meat, eggs, healthy fats, cheese and its derivatives, vegetables and some fruits. Seasonal foods are cheaper, fresher and better for your body.
Avoid unnecessary sections: If you know that certain sections of the supermarket are tempting to you, such as the candy, bakery or snack sections, avoid them.
Check expiration dates: Before buying a product, check the expiration date. Choose those with a more distant expiration date.
